Happy Birthday Caleb

How is it possible that you are nine years old? Where has the time gone? We are so thankful to be your mom and dad. What a great kid you are! Happy Birthday, son!

The "Senior" Prom

A tradition at the kids school for all fourth and fifth graders is to invite a grandparent or other special someone to the "Senior" Prom. This year Emaleigh invited her Grandpa Mann. He showed up with a beautiful corsage and the two enjoyed a lovely dinner at one of her favorite restaurants--The Tsing Tao House. Then they headed to the school for a night filled with dancing. Emaleigh had such a blast! What a great memory for the two of them.

Date Night

This weeks date night entailed Caleb, Jack & Nick spending much of the evening building
"Veedhicle Base". At least that's what Jack called it...he really meant "Vehicle Base!" Anyway it was a great feat for them to build it and have fun enjoying it!

One Last Stop

After taking a quick bike ride this morning,

we made one last stop to see the motorcross races that rolled into town yesterday. Caleb really wants his own dirt bike so he was overjoyed to make a quick stop to see them up close!

Maybe one day, son... Like when you're 30!!!

Love notes

On our adventure thru Joshua Tree National Park we noticed many people spelled out their names in rocks along the railroad tracks. The kids decided to come back and try it on the beach. They spelled out their names and We Love You for Grandma and Grandpa. They even found another heart shaped rock (see February's AZ posts) to put in the center of the large heart they made for the word love.
